The World Horror Society is an unincorporated literary society made up of professionals in the horror field and past convention chairs. The current board of directors are:

Beth Gwinn, Photographer and Past WHC GoH
Beth is the Chair of the Board of Directors and the only remaining charter board member.

Doreen Webbert, Past WHC Co-Chair
Doreen co-ran WHC94/98 in Phoenix, Arizona.

Ed Bryant, Author/Editor and Past WHC Chair
Ed ran WHC2000 in Denver, Colorado and works with the WHCs on issues related to writing professionals.

Mike Willmoth, Past WHC Chair & Treasurer
Mike works with the future bidders to prepare them for the presentation and administers the Grand Master Awards. He was also the Chair of WHC2004.

Alan Beatts, Dealer
Alan oversees the Dealers Rooms for the conventions and has been a regular fixture at past WHCs.

Trey R. Barker, Author and past WHC Program Director
Trey also works with writing program issues.

Amanda Foubister
Amanda was Chair of WHC2007.

Charlene “Charlie” Harmon
Charlie was Chair of WHC2008.
