World Horror Convention

WORLD HORROR CONVENTION 2008 will take place March 27-30 at the Radisson Hotel Salt Lake Downtown, located in the heart of Salt Lake City.

Guests of Honor include Dennis Etchison (Author Guest of Honor); John Jude Palencar (Artist Guest of Honor); Simon R. Green (Toastmaster); Michael R. Collings (Academic Guest of Honor); Dave Dinsmore (Publisher Special Guest) and Jeff Strand (Author Special Guest).

Many other authors, artists, editors, publishers and agents are expected to attend.

Advertising Space

World Horror Convention 2008 is now selling advertising space in the three Progress Reports, on the Website and in the program book.

A special rate is available to those who wish to advertise in all three PRs.

We reserve the right to reject any ad that we may feel is inappropriate.

The first Progress Report will be distributed to all members of the 2007 World Horror Convention in Toronto and all members of the Salt Lake City convention who register before PR2 comes out. (PR1 will be available for download for ALL attendees of WHC2008). Subsequent PRs will only be sent to members of WHC2008.

Souvenir Anthology (800 copies):

All stories and art in the anthology are donated by professional writers and artists. Extra copies of the book will be sold and the money split between Utah WHC and RFF Utah, a volunteer organization that gets speculative fiction books into the hands of K-12 students, teachers and librarians.

Souvenir Bags

Every attendee of WHC2008 will get a souvenir bag full of books and promotional materials. We are looking for a sponsor to help pay for the bags. The sponsor will get their logo on one side of the bag. WHC2008 will have a logo on the other side of the bag.
