As one of the many special events we will be presenting at World Horror Convention 2010, we are delighted
to announce a presentation on the Friday evening of:
'A WARNING TO THE CURIOUS' BY M.R. JAMES,
PERFORMED BY ROBERT LLOYD PARRY.
Robert Lloyd Parry has been performing a trilogy of one-man shows based on M.R. James' ghost stories
around the the UK, USA and Ireland since 2006, often in venues closely associated with the author,
including The Fitzwilliam Museum and King's College Chapel in Cambridge and Livemere Church and the
Provost's Lodge at Eton. In 2007 he won the Dracula Society's Hamilton Deane Award for his show 'Oh, Whistle...'
"Lloyd Parry is always absorbing, and catches the sense of dread that gives James his originality."
—The Times
"Riveting . . . wonderful, magical storytelling. A pleasing reminder that the spoken word can be as
spine-chilling as anything in the cinema."
—The Daily Mail
Copies of Roger Lloyd Parry's DVD, A Pleasing Terror - Two Ghost Stories by M.R. James,
