Amanda Foubister is a professional seminar co-ordinator and has attended and worked on conventions since 1994. She was also a founding Board member of the National Science Fiction and Fantasy Society (1994-1997). After two years working in Programming with Toronto's local convention, Ad Astra, she was promoted to Head of the Department, where she led a team of eight people. Through her work with Ad Astra, she has worked with several different Toronto fan groups. In 2004, she was voted Chairperson of Ad Astra, which Patrick and Teresa Nielsen Hayden have declared as one of the top ten of cons they have ever attended.

Stephen Jones lives in London, England. He is the winner of three World Fantasy Awards, three Horror Writers
Association Bram Stoker Awards and three International Horror Guild Awards as well as being a sixteen-time
recipient of the British Fantasy Award and a Hugo Award nominee. A former television producer/director and
genre movie publicist and consultant (the first three HELLRAISER movies, etc.) and one of Britain's
most acclaimed anthology editors, he has published more than seventy books. He has co-chaired two World Fantasy
Conventions and is a permanent board member of the World Fantasy steering committee. He has also chaired
or co-chaired a number of British FantasyCons and has served on the committees of two World Science Fiction
Conventions. A regular convention attendee on both sides of the Atlantic for thirty-five years, he was a
Guest of Honour at the 2002 World Fantasy Convention in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and the 2004 World Horror

Mandy Slater has lived most of her life in Canada, but in 1994 returned to her native England and presently lives in
London. Her short story appearances include: THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF DRACULA,
HORRORS! 365 SCARY STORIES, SEX MACABRE, 100 TWISTED TALES OF TORMENT,
THE TIGER GARDEN: A BOOK OF WRITERS' DREAMS and DARK TERRORS: THE GOLLANCZ BOOK OF HORROR. In
addition, she was the dialogue scriptwriter for the BBC's THE ANIMALS OF FARTHING WOOD CD-ROM
and a contributor to the 2001 World Fantasy Convention CD-ROM. She has worked as an assistant film
publicist in Romania (LAST GASP, starring Robert Patrick and Joanna Pacula) while, as a media
journalist, researcher and photographer, she has contributed to X-POSE,
SECRET CITY: STRANGE TALES OF LONDON, LOCUS, SCI-FI ENTERTAINMENT, SCI-FI WIRE,
SFX, SCIENCE FICTION CHRONICLE, SCI-FI MAGAZINE and several volumes of
THE MAMMOTH BOOK OF BEST NEW HORROR series. She currently freelances in the British film
and TV industry. A regular convention attendee since her teens, in Canada she worked on a number of
annual Ad Astra and Maplecons in various major capacities and was the Guest/Media Liaison at the
1997 World Fantasy Convention in London.
